Fremont Dress Code
To promote an atmosphere of learning, the following dress code will be enforced:
- Pants, shorts, and skirts must be fitted at the waist and free from holes/rips/tears. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be 2 inches above the knee or longer. Tights, leggings, and knee socks may be worn under shorts, skirts or dresses.
- Shirts or sweatshirts must be worn. Spaghetti straps, bare midriffs, halter tops, tube tops, and muscle shirts are not permitted. Students are not permitted to wear hoods or hats indoors unless special circumstances are established.
- Students may not wear gang-related clothing or clothing with symbols, pins, or other paraphernalia which advertise controlled substances or display inappropriate or violent words or pictures, or illegal substances for this age group (such as smoking or alcohol).
- Clothing may not be see-through and students may not wear underwear as outer wear.
- Students must wear shoes with a sole or secured sandals. Students may not wear flip-flops.
- For safety reasons, no large drop/hoop earrings or spikes may be worn during the school day.
